The Dallas Assembly has traveled to Asia, Europe, Central America, South America, and extensively within the United States and North America. Highlights of past trips include meetings with local leaders, community activists and creative talents including Nashville Mayor David Briely; US Ambassador to Argentina and former Asst. Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs, Earl Anthoy Wayne in Buenos Aires; Mexico City Executive Chef, Billy Maldonado; a delegation from the South Korean National Assembly; US Ambassador to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Jeanne L. Phillips in Paris; and Oisin Quinn, Former Lord Mayor of Dublin, Ireland.
Fall Forum is a less formal and recent addition for Dallas Assembly members to explore cities nearer to Dallas. The goal of the Fall Forum is to take a deep dive into one or two activities while building and strengthening relationships within the membership. Crystal Bridges Museum of Art was a key destination and highlight in Bentonville, Arkansas. We have also toured museums, restaurants and local historical sites in New Orleans, Louisiana and Fort Worth, Texas.
